Santander: the unforgettable sea in peace

Santander located in Spain's northern Atlantic Biscay bend River, is the capital of Cantabria. From the 19th century, been chosen as the summer palace of Spanish royal, Santander has become a thriving and famous senior summer resort. Although I am an atheist, I believe something is destined, such as my visit in the city. Choosing this time to write about Santander can be described as a real anniversary, because it is the last leg of our north trip in August last year. As early as planning the trip, everyone was hesitating on whether go to Santander or not. Its location is just in the middle of our journey. The town is worth going, but the sea itself is not very different, whose landscape is not good as the first two stations Bilbao and San Sebastian. To save money, we finally gave up. As a result, we came to Vigo, exhausted, to find that the train tickets in the next three days to Barcelona were all sold out. The news came as a bolt from the blue for us who slept in three nights of 8 days. I held a map of Spain and discussed many ways with the staff at the ticket window,finding that the only way to return to Barca was to take the car which reached Santander at 3,and then bought a bus ticket of 9 that night to go to Barcelona. In this way, we had to stay in Santander for another day. All my memories of the city are sea-related. It turns out that we can never get tired of looking at the sea.
There are plenty of artistic and playful sculptures by the sea. We were fitly four and intended to imitate, but there is an action too difficult to make......

It feels lucky when looking at this picture now, because it is not there anymore. This statue of Franco on horseback has been removed in December last year.
It was the first time to see so many small crabs getting out.
It was also my first time to take a boat trip in Spain for the beautiful scenery. Indeed, the weather was strange in the north. The sea breeze on board made me gooseflesh all over and finally when the sun came out, I could not even open my eyes.
It was the first time to be attracted by the beauty of the sea and the sky line in the mid-ocean.
I wanted to go for a look at a mountain house, which some say was Earls Court, some hotel, some university ... ... Whatever it was, just from the outside; it was enough to draw us to explore it.
In fact, many people choose to spend their summer vocation under the sun in north. The sea seems more vast and deeper than the Mediterranean. Bikini Beach is still blooming with the colors of summer, but people here are less open than those in Bassa beach, almost not seen to be naked.
The children were building their own dream of castles.
Walking up the hill from the beach, along the way we were still accompanied by the sea view.
At the seaside is a statue of a beautiful mermaid. Why do some people insist that she is a siren......?
The house stands high at the top of the mountain, seemingly overlooking the sea in a haughty stance, but in reality smilingly watching the pleasant people at the sea.
The rows of fallen trees also become unique scenery.
At the foot of the hills there is an amusement park and people are napping by the sea.
It has a well-known island in the shape of turtle.
Let the sea creature's "red foot shrimp" shape to be a successful conclusion of our journey into the north. My friends often asked whether I tanned under the shinny Spanish sun. This is the evidence. Sea monster can be considered an Otaku with white skin. No matter how many times we are heavily coated in a day, we can’t escape being tanning or sunburned at the end of each trip. And now I have some idea of why people say tourism is buying suffering.
